This is the fifth book in the "Trucks & Truckers" series & focuses on the region from the Hauraki district & Coromandel Peninsular. Transport changed on the Hauraki Plains & other areas as the smaller dairy factories closed when the larger centralised ones like Kerepehi opened & the milk was collected by tankers. Many of these companies have long gone, but the impressive fleets they operated will long be remembered. With names such as Thames Freightlines, Hauraki Haulage, Brenan & Company, Colville Transport Ltd & Scotts Transport Ltd, this book covers most of the trucks of this area past & present.
