1/43 Massey Ferguson 50 Tractor 1959. Made by Universal Hobbies. Features very nice detail, & comes in a plastic display case. This tractor is 75mm long, 38mm wide & 35mm high.
This item is not suitable for children.

The MF 50 started life as a Ferguson 40. The Ferguson 40 was available in several configurations; rowcrop, high clearance & standard. As a result of the Massey-Harris takeover of Ferguson in late 1953, the Ferguson 40 was renamed the Massey-Harris 50. Built from 1955 - 1957, & with a new bonnet, grill & paint scheme, it was still essentially was the same tractor using the same Continental 134ci petrol engine. As a MH 50 it was also available in the same axle configurations as the Ferguson 40. In 1957 it was renamed Massey Ferguson 50. It continued in production until 1964. It was now only available as a standard tractor, but was now available with an LPG engine & with a 3-cylinder Perkins Diesel engine of 153ci. This tractor was the only one to be released as a Ferguson, Massey-Harris & Massey Ferguson.
